·     Most of these Mk4 golf's are fitted with total closure meaning that pressing the lock button on the remote not only locks the doors but also closes the windows, to check if your vehicle has total closure hold the key in the lock position of the drivers door lock, if the windows and sunroof close then remote total closure is possible.
